Margaret "Jeanne" Sherffius, 91, passed peacefully on April 2, 2021. Jeanne was born in Salina, KS, on August 15, 1930, to Leonard and Mildred Brown. She retired after 30 years as a manager at Fidelity Bank. Her yard at her home in Wichita was the talk of the neighborhood with her plants and flowers everywhere. She was quick-witted and could always make people laugh with her great sense of humor. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Kenneth and Don Brown; sister, Betty Woodcock; daughter, Deanna Chlentzos; sons, Rob and Greg Sherffius. She is survived by son, Russell Sherffius (Corky), Wichita; sister, Mary Ann Brown (Roger), Bayview, TX; sister-in-law, Pat Brown, Salina, KS; four grandchildren; nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends. No services per Jeanne's request. Cremation has taken place at Old Mission Mortuary. Special thanks to the staff at Homestead of Wichita assisted living. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Serenity Hospice Care or to the Kansas Humane Society.
