Margaret Jo Reed was born April 16, 1924 in Boswell, Oklahoma to Sam Andrew and Odessa (Walker) Williams. She passed away peacefully on Friday, February 12, 2010 in Wichita at the age of 85.
She was a press operator for the Pearless Laundry and Dry Cleaners.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John Henry; a daughter, Marva Alexander; a granddaughter, Lawanda Golden; two sisters, Bernice Peppers and Jessie Johnson; and her parents.
Survivors include two daughters, Lois Parks and Rita Golden of Wichita; brother, Robert (Bernice) Williams of Washington D.C.; sister, Johnnie Boyd of Dallas; 3 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Thursday, Febuary 18, 2010 from 4:00-8:00 p.m., at Old Mission Mortuary
Funeral service to be held Friday, Febuary 19, 2010 at 1:00 p.m., at Old Mission Mortuary Chapel.
Interment in Old Mission Cemetery, Garden of Love, Section B, Row C, Space 14.
