Lynda Harter-Newhouse, was born Nov. 18, 1960 in Muncie, Indiana to Donald and Geraldine (Wagner) Harter. She died on Dec. 26, 2014 in Wichita, Ks. at the age of 54. Lynda was a Family Service Counselor for Old Mission Cemetery for many years. She was playful at heart with a sense of humor. Preceding her in death were her husband, Rich in Sept.2014; and a brother Billy Jo Harter. Survivors include her mother, Geraldine Harter of Muncie, IN; 2 daughters, Christy Harter, Wichita, KS. and Lorie (Jerome) Onofry of Sandusky, Ohio; a granddaughter, Brooklyn Harter; 2 sisters, Kathy (Joe) Calamusa of Noblesville, IN. and Karen (Phil) Piner of Muncie, IN. A Gathering for family and friends will be held Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2014 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Old Mission Mortuary. Cremation has been chosen. Send condolences to www.oldmissionmortuary.com.
