Lydia Barton, 31, of Monument, CO, passed away tragically on January 4, 2025, alongside her beloved sons, Jesse and Ronan. Lydia was born on October 08, 1993, and lived a life full of passion, love, and unrelenting spirit.
Lydia was a devoted mother, spouse, daughter, sister, and friend whose vibrance lit up every room she entered. A true spitfire, she embraced life fearlessly, pouring her love into her children, her partner, Gage, and her many passions, including her craft as a tattoo artist, her work as a CNA, and as a student in nursing school. Lydia found joy in creating lasting memories with her family, whether camping under the stars, hiking rugged trails, or exploring the beauty of nature together.

Her children were her life. She celebrated their individuality and supported their dreams, never missing an opportunity to give them new experiences and teach them about the world. Lydia's fierce love and dedication were felt in every hug, every word of encouragement, and every moment spent together.

She is survived by her spouse of eight years, Gage Harding; her daughter, Kaelee (11); her parents Nick Barton and Tonya Duncan; her brother Truman Barton; and countless friends and family who were touched by her kindness, creativity, and unwavering strength. She was preceded in death by her sons, Jesse and Ronan.

Lydia's light, love, and laughter will forever be remembered by those who had the privilege to know her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, fairness, adventure, and resilience that will continue to inspire her loved ones.

In Loving Memory of Lydia "Sissy" Paige Barton

October 8, 1993 – January 4, 2025


Lydia Paige Barton, lovingly known as "Sissy," passed away in the early hours of January 4, 2025, at 12:25 a.m. She was a beacon of love, strength, and compassion, whose dedication to her family and dreams inspired all who knew her.


Born on October 8, 1993, Lydia grew into a deeply caring and hardworking woman. She was the proud and devoted mother of three children, whom she loved with a fierce and unconditional devotion. She worked tirelessly, often juggling two or three jobs, to ensure her children had everything they needed and more.


Lydia was passionate about helping others, a calling that led her to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and pursue her bachelor's degree in nursing. Her ultimate goal was to become a nurse practitioner, a role where her compassion and drive would undoubtedly have touched countless lives.


Lydia is survived by her loving mother, Tonya Duncan; her father, Nick Barton; her little brother, Truman Barton; her older brother, Bobby Burkhead; her surviving daughter and a circle of friends who loved her deeply and will continue to cherish her memory. Her kindness, laughter, and unwavering devotion to those she cared for will forever remain in their hearts.


Her family, friends, and all those whose lives she impacted will always hold Lydia in their hearts. Her memory will live on in the love she gave and the way she made people feel seen and valued.
