Dotson, Lucille C. "Lucy," 91, homemaker, died Thursday, October 31, 2013. A native Wichitan, Mrs. Dotson was a graduate of Wichita High School East and graduated from Wichita University; an active member of St. John's Episcopal and St. Alban's Episcopal Churches, serving on the Altar Guild of both. She was a former member of the Board of Trustees for the Wichita Children's Home, and a member of Junior League of Wichita. She enjoyed golf and bowling, attending league play in both. Her primary joy was being supportive of her four children and admiring the nature and wildlife in her backyard. She was preceded in death by her husband, John G. (Jack) Dotson; parents, Charles Albert Comley and Teresa "Baba" Lassen; sister, Mary Elizabeth (Marnie), brother, Henry (Hank); and sister, Teresa (Teddy). Survivors include her children and their families: sons and daughters-in-law, John C. and Doris of Sparks, Nev., Dr. Peter H. and Jane of Leawood, Paul W. and Nancy; daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Drew Fleming of Bristow, Va.; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
