Lundy, Lola Maria Heintje Enninga, was born to Enno and Rebecca Enninga on their family farm near Newkirk, OK on August 16, 1921. She died peacefully at the home of her daughter in Atchison, KS on Sept. 18, 2013 following a prolonged illness. Lola was a retired tax auditor for the IRS. Preceding her in death were her parents and three siblings, Lawrence, Leonard and Lucille Enninga Thomson. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Floyd Lundy, Wichita: two daughters, Sheryl (Andre) Resendez of Woodbridge, VA and Deborah (Michael) McGuire of Atchison, KS; two grandchildren, Matthew (Sarah) McGuire of Atchison and Meghan McGuire of Lawrence. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Sept, 25 at 1:30 p.m. at Old Mission Mortuary, Wichita, KS, with family visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Old Mission Cemetery. The family has chosen Brotherhood Presbyterian Church or the American Heart Association for memorial contributions.
