Lily Glass Menzies was born on Feb. 9, 1918 to George & Pina Glass. She was next to the youngest of 8 kids. She was preceded in death by all 7 siblings. She married Carl Menzies on July 23, 1945. They were married 33 years. Carl & Lily had 6 children of their own, one of which was stillborn. Lily was preceded in death by her husband, Carl in Sept. 1978; son, Raymond in Feb. 2002; grandson, Barry Meeks in June 2010; and stepdaughter, Rosabell Betts in Dec. 1969; granddaughter, Jeri Lynne Glass and great grandson, Lonnie Booker. Lily is survived by sons, Jerry Glass, San Leandro, CA, George Menzies, Wichita, KS, Ralph Menzies, Wichita, KS; stepson, Robert Menzies (Charlene), Houston, TX; daughters, Sharon Williams (Otis) Wichita, KS, Beverly Kirk (Darrel) Wichita, KS; 60 grand kids, great grand kids, and great great grandkids.
