LEOLA ROLL JONES, was born April 18, 1914 in Arapaho, Oklahoma to Ralph and Jessie DeWater Roll. She passed away quietly at 12:30 am April 22, 2020 at the age of 106.
Leola had a twin sister, Leona, who died at 6 weeks of age of whooping cough.
Leola was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Ransom M Jones; her parents, three brothers and three sisters. Survivors include her daughter Elena Jones Ingle (Jim Wheeler); grandchildren Cathy Ingle Berlfein (Paul), Debra Ingle Johnson (Eddie), Kevin Ingle (Karen); great-grandchildren Phillip Ingle (Katrina), Sarah Ingle Nolley (Matt), Michael Ingle (Ashley), Jessica Johnson Lietz (Collin), Julia Johnson, Joanna Johnson; great-great-grandchildren Wyatt Nolley, Sawyer Nolley, Parker Ingle, Caelin Miller-Ingle; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Leola was animated and loved a good joke. More than that she loved her family and the children she was blessed to have call her Aunt and Grandma. She once wrote that the happiest times in her life were when her daughter was small and when she was able to spend time with her grandchildren.
She was a lifetime member of the Daughters of the Nile Zohar Temple #65, and twice served as Queen. Leola retired from the Auditing Department of Sears Roebuck of Wichita. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Shriners Children's Hospital or the Wichita Union Rescue Mission. No funeral services are planned at this time.
