Laurie Lynn Katzenmeier, 56, beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend died at home, October 28, 2010, after a long battle with cancer.
A memorial service to honor her life will be Tues. Nov. 2, 2PM at Mission Chapel Mausoleum Chapel, 3424 E. 21st, Wichita, KS.
Laurie was born Feb. 14, 1954 to Wilma & Ernest Katzenmeier and lived and worked in Wichita all of her life. She worked for the state child protective services for many years and for the Stanley Alley city hall when it was established.
She is survived by her mother, Wilma, sister Peggy Gilchrist, brother Mike Katzenmeier (Jamie) niece and nephews, many dear friends including Tom Wanko, Shauna Shelton, Richard Gilchrist and her much loved lab, Chloe.
Her family extends their heartfelt appreciation to Harry Hynes Hospice and Trust Home Care for their loving care and dedicated attention to Laurie.
