Larry Allen Reed, 83, passed way October 13, 2025. He was born in Kansas City, Kansas to Charles and Bertha (Thomas) Reed.

After serving in the U.S. Navy, Larry worked at Excel meat packing for 23 years followed by time in the aircraft industries in Wichita before retirement.

He enjoyed gardening and growing tomatoes. He was a huge KC Royals fan and Chiefs fan. His greatest accomplishment was accepting Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and leading his family in the same direction.

Larry is survived by his wife Judy, daughter Tracy (Dale) Reed Catlin, son Thomas Reed, three grandchildren, Emily Catlin, Piper Reed, and Lincoln Reed, two sisters, Beni Baisley and Jean Bourbin, one brother Jerry (Jane) Reed and numerous loved nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by parents Charles and Bertha Reed, two sisters Grace and Bonnie, three brothers Frank, Harold and Ray.
