Armfield, Larry Jean, born February 11, 1933, died March 14, 2018.  Graduated from Wichita State University, after which Larry attended and graduated from the Naval Officer Candidate School in Newport, RI.  Subsequent to his service, Larry went to work for his father at Peerless Pies bakery in Wichita, KS.  Larry then went into the life insurance business and later formed 2 corporations: Armfield-Cole Consultants and Benefit Plans Administrators where he sold and administered corporate and union pension plans.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents Jacob (Jack) and Delphine Armfield.  Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years, Gwen; his children, Mark (Melodee), Matt (Marsha), and Greg (Denise) Armfield; 7 Grandchildren, and five great grandchildren; twin brother, Jack (Donna) Armfield and sister, Joyce Pannell.
