IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kitty Jane
Herzberg
July 14, 1955 – November 8, 2023
Kitty Jane (Stofer) Herzberg, age 68, passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2023.
Kitty was born July 14, 1955 in Wichita, KS. She graduated from Wichita High School East in 1973. On December 11, 1987, she married her love and best friend, Steven L. Herzberg. Together, they raised their two boys, Anthony and Ray Rodgers, both of whom Kitty cherished.
For many years, Kitty worked as a nanny. Later in life, she was a strong and steady, familiar and friendly face to many at the Cancer Center of Kansas where she worked as a receptionist/scheduler. There, Kitty comforted many people in some of their darkest times, purely by the genuine love and joy that she exuded. Kitty didn't know a stranger and everyone was her friend.
Kitty loved Jesus, her husband, her children, and grandchildren. They were her passion in life. The family is comforted in knowing how deeply Kitty loved Jesus and that her custom-made mansion in Heaven was ready and waiting for her.
She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Stofer; Daddy, Bill Moore; sister, Peggy Moore. She is survived by her husband of nearly 36 years, Steven Herzberg; sons, Anthony (Kami) Herzberg of Omaha, NE and Ray Rodgers (Terretta) Herzberg of Wichita; mother, Patrecia Moore; brothers, Bill (Veronica) Moore, Jr., Chris (Marianne) Moore, Mike (Renee) Moore, all of Wichita; sisters, Tina (Tom) Herzberg of Wichita, and Bambi Stofer of Omaha, NE; grandchildren, Jordan, Kennedi and Jaxon Hallberg, Addison and Natalie Gerlach, Kamren and Kendall Herzberg; and many other nephews, nieces, and beloved friends.
Visitation will be 4-8pm, Wednesday, November 15. Services, 10am, Thursday, November 16, both at Old Mission Mortuary Chapel, Wichita.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up in Kitty's name with Victory in the Valley: 3755 E Douglas Ave, Wichita, KS 67218.
