Kenneth Edris Jones was born September 29, 1935, in Waterford, England, to Lewis and Doris Jones. As a teenager, his family moved to the United States, making Wichita, Kansas, their home. In his lifetime, he was drafted in 1959 to the United States Army and served 4 years. He worked for South West Grease and Oil in Wichita, Kansas, Witco & Exxon Mobile in Olathe, Kansas. After retirement, he moved back to be with his family and lifelong buddy, David Dearman. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Lewis Jones and George Jones; sisters, Margret Newport and Lily Walker and 2nd wife, Judy Jones. He is survived by his son, Kelly (Marilyn) Jones of Andover, Kansas; daughter, Kerry (Aaron) Young of Bentonville, Arkansas; 7 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. He was a member of the Derby 408 VFW, Legion Riders and Patriot Guard. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Legion Post 408 620 N. Rock Road Suite 230-316, Derby, Kansas, 67037.
