Kathryn Greenleaf died quietly on the morning of May 8 ^th . She had gone to Mass at Blessed Sacrament Church with her sister, Joan Sargent Jenson; Kaye returned to her home, laid down, and passed away shortly afterward. Kaye was born on July 14, 1934. She attended St. Mary's and Mt. Carmel high School. She also attended St. Mary's of Notre Dame College. Kaye graduated from the University of Kansas. She married Harold Kane Greenleaf and together they lived in Washington D.C.; Billings, Montana; and Liberal, Kansas. They had three children: Jesse Greenleaf, Maggie Wiechman, and Chris Greenleaf who passed away at the age of 4. Harold preceded Kaye in death in 1995. Kaye had one sister, Joan Sargent Jenson, and 2 brothers Michael C. Weigand who passed away in 2014, and Nestor R. Weigand, Jr.. Kaye had 4 grandchildren. She was active in her church and the Agatherian Society. The Rosary will be held Monday May 14, 2018 at 11:00 am with Funeral Services to follow at 12:00pm at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 124 N. Roosevelt Wichita, Kansas with a graveside to follow at Old Mission Cemetery.
