On May 14, 2021, surrounded by her family, Juanita Merjil passed away at the age of 81, at her eldest daughter's home. Juanita was the wife of Pete Merjil, they met in 1965 and shared 63 years together.
Juanita, "Bunny" named by her mother in law, was born in Riverside, California. She was the daughter of Beatrice Miller and Lorenzo (Patrick) Miller. She also liked to be called Bunny. She served as a food service worker at Monrovia, California public schools.
Juanita was a member of City Church Assembly of God. She enjoyed being in God's presence by praying and worshipping. When she was younger, she enjoyed visiting the beach with her husband Pete. She will be remembered for her loving, kind heart and a beautiful smile. She will also be remembered as a powerful prayer warrior.
She is survived by her husband, Pete Merjil; brother, Larry Miller; sisters, Julie Hughs and Mary Wonder; children, Susan Glover, Donna Cesena, Diane Rasmussen and Peter Merjil. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
