Joye F. Durant, 89, died April 13, 2011. Lifetime member of Central Community church. Former Co-owner of Continental Restaurant Chain with her husband Warren. Joye was a devoted Sunday School teacher and enjoyed music especially when singing with her sisters.
Preceded in death by her husband of 57 yrs., Warren Durant; sister, Ruth Neathery; grandson, Jon Kutilek.
Survived by her daughters, Kay (Dennis) Beecher of Ranch Santa Fe, CA and Linda Durant of Wichita, KS; sister, Reba Angle of Wichita; grandchildren, Debbie (Kyle) Beecher Kerekffy, Christian Beecher, David (Jamie) Beecher, Jamie (Jacy) Angleton; 9 great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Central Community Church.
Visitation Sun. 1 to 5 p.m. with family receiving friends from 2 to 4 p.m., graveside service Monday 1:30 p.m. at Old Mission Cemetery.
