Joyce Colleen Suedekum, 72, passed away May, 9, 2022, at home surrounded by family. She was born in Wichita, Kansas, October 19, 1949, to Thomas and Betty (Greenstreet) Gripe. Joyce was very family oriented, if she knew you she considered herself your grandma. She loved doing taxes; collecting Thomas Kinkade; bunnies and watching KU Basketball. Joyce is survived by her sons, Frank (Georgiannia) Welton and Jason (Shannon) Welton; daughters, Tammy Welton and Amanda (Rob) Welton-Thawley; sisters, Shari (Steven) Hinds and Peggy Gripe; 6 plus grandchildren and 10 and counting great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Teresa Welton-Sanders and brothers, Roger and Thomas Eugene Gripe .
