Hipp, Joseph Woodrow (Woodie), 101, retired watchmaker and jewelry store owner, died June 15, 2015. Woodie was born August 16, 1913 and was preceded in death by his parents Dr. Joseph and Iona Hipp, 7 siblings, his first wife Geneva Firestone Hipp, and second wife of 22 years Geraldine Ostertag Hipp who was the love of his life. Survivors include stepdaughters Jerry Beth Ostertag Malone and Joy Ostertag Archer (Allen), all of Wichita, 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Woodie was a member of the Masons and the Shrine for over 50 years. Service will be 2:00 pm, Thursday June 18, 2015 at Old Mission Mortuary.
