Joseph Polster, born November 15, 1915, passed away in Tucson, Arizona on July 14, 2007 where he had been living for the past four years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Libby. He retired in 1974 from Boeing after many years as Superintendent of Major Assembly. His hobbies included golf, fishing, boating, gardening and woodworking.
He is survived by two daughters, Sharon Polster of Seattle, Washington, Donna (Steven) Grischow of Tucson, Arizona; three grandchildren, Ben Estep, Matt Snodgrass, Melissa (Duane) Small, and one great-grandson, Wyatt Small.
A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in the Mission Chapel Mausoleum, 3424 East 21st Street, Wichita, Kansas.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in his name to either Casa de la Luz Hospice of Tucson, at 400 West Magee Road, Tucson, Arizona 85704 or to South Omaha Sokol at 2021 U Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68107.
