John Robert Fletcher, 77, of Wichita, KS. Passed away peacefully on September 23, 2024.

He was born on April 11, 1947, to Francis Martin and Jesse Esther Fletcher. He grew up with three sisters, Rachel (Kay) Robb, Phyllis James, and Marie Sanger. He was preceded in death by Father Francis, Mother Esther, sister Kay, son-in-law Kirk Rundstrom. He was a devoted husband to wife Nita Fletcher (Banuelos), and father to Lisa Rundstrom and Lori Burress (Phillip), and proud grandfather to Elle Rundstrom, Mollie Rundstrom and Lex Burress, and great-grandfather to Cruz Chavez. He loved spending time with his family and friends and enjoyed Royals baseball and helping others.

John successfully served in the United States Navy and enjoyed a career as a machinist and engineer at The Boeing Company and Spirit AeroSystems. He retired from both. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. He touched many lives with his smile, sense humor and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Graveside Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, September 27, 2024, at Ascension Cemetery, St. Francis Garden, Prairie, 7200 E. 45th St. N., Bel Aire, Ks. 67226.
