Joan Mary Garcia was born in London, England on June 6 1926 to Sidney and Mary Morrison. She passed away in Wichita, Ks on June 8 2023. Joan loved to knit blankets to give to people. She was an avid Bowler and was always ready to go out and eat, especially Mexican food! She enjoyed playing cards with friends weekly and having pizza. She lived a long life!
Joan is survived by her son, John Garcia of St Louis, daughter, Leslie Swearingen of Wichita, 3 Grandchildren, Melissa Slaugher, Sean Garcia and Garret Swearingen. 5 great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband John.
Services are at Old Mission Mortuary Friday June 16th 2023, 10:30 AM. Burial after service. Memorial Donations to Kansas Food Bank.
