Jesse Leon Luper, Sr., 87, passed away February 26, 2021. Leon was born in Tulsa County, Oklahoma on November 28,1933 to Jess and Leora Luper.

He was a strong-willed man who loved his family very much.  He loved his wife deeply for over 70 years.  He loved his siblings and would make time for each of them.  He was always concerned for his children. If they had a real need, he helped them with it.

He enjoyed good friendships and missed any of his friends when they passed away before him.  He loved camping and traveling. Those special times are remembered and cherished by his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his step-mother, Bridget Luper, brother and sister-in-law, Andy and Mary Luper and son-in-law, John Rainer. He is survived by his wife Christena Luper. They would have been married seventy years on April 1, 2021. Two sisters and their husbands: Norma and Bill Whitehead; Janice and George Delk Five children: Vicki Luper, Jesse Luper, Jr., Angia Martin, Richard Luper, and Reesa Driver Sixteen grandchildren Twenty-nine great-grandchildren One great-great-grandchild.
