Jerolene Marie Cornell, 84, was born in Wichita, Kansas, January 5, 1937 to Gerald Emond and Esther (Blair) Emond and passed away March 16, 2021. She was a loving mother who always showed up for her children, kept a clean home always and loved taking care of her husband Jack. Jerolene always enjoyed her family gatherings, decorating cakes and making every one of her children feel special. She always went to baseball games and races and cheered for her children from the stands. Jerolene is preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Esther and brother, Bob Emond of Augusta. She is survived by, husband, Jack of 66 years; sons, Stan Cornell of El Dorado and Darrin (Angela) Cornell of Augusta; daughter, Cindy (David) Tapphorn of Great Bend; brother, Bill Emond of Wichita; sister, Mary (Jack) George of Valley Center; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
