Obituary

Jason Patrick left this world peacefully on April 27, 2021 with his family by his side.
He is survived by his loving wife Heidi, his children Aiden, Chloe (Joey), Shae, Haylee (Devon), Luke, his grandson Clayton and his extended family and friends. As well as a 1965 Marlin named Fat Fish, a parts car, a project car, 27 used radiator hoses, 42 feet of used heater hose, vacuum and fuel line, a shop filled with miscellaneous parts labeled "I think it works" or "you might need it some day" and an Alexa that will only communicate through fart noises.
Jason loved working on cars and was an avid racer. He was fluent in several languages which included movie one-liners, fart noises (which would explain the Alexa) and Dad jokes. He had a gift for stealthily causing large amounts of comical chaos with-out being detected.
Jason never took one moment for granted, many times saying YOLO. He wouldn't allow himself to shy away from any opportunity to connect with someone or catch up. The only thing he loved more was his family. Together with Heidi he spent every moment possible trying to be the best husband, father and grandfather he could be. Often driving hours for just a few minutes of time to share with his children. This translated into him not just being the most loving husband, father and grandfather but just an amazing human being all together.
We would especially like to thank Dr. Philip, Dr. Dickerson, Chaplain Amy, Rachael, Hannah and all the amazing nurses and Doctors at Wesley Medical Center and Midwest transplant for the loving care they provided him and his family.
In lieu of flowers, please send whiskey. Seriously, what would have made him the happiest is for you to go have a beer with a friend and reconnect or play a harmless prank on some unsuspecting sap. What also made Jason happy was his love of music so If we still haven't dissuaded you and you feel compelled to waste your hard-earned money to honor his memory, donations may be sent to The Cotillion.
