Jason James Adams was born September 9th, 1964 to Sam and Emma Adams in Wichita, Kansas. Jason was autistic and he  resided in Parsons Kansas where he was able to develop skills that allowed him to work doing the laundry route and canteen route at Parsons State Hospital and Training Center for many years. He also participated for years in the Special Olympics and participated in the Rodeo. Jason had a love for food and enjoyed going on car rides. Jason had charm and a beautiful smile he inherited from his father. Jason's strength and will to enjoy life was amazing and was able to overcome many obstacles that affected his health. Jason passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 3rd, 2024.
Jason is preceded in death by his parents Sam and Emma Adams; sisters, Mary Alice Irving; Gloria Adams; Clara White; Beatrice Adams; Roseshell Adams and brother, Billy Gary. He is survived by his sisters, Loretta Whiting; Patricia (Roman) Martin; Cynthia Reed all of Wichita Kansas; Darlene Wingo of North Las Vegas, Nevada; a host of family and friends and extended family member, MacKenzie Sears of Parsons, Kansas. Special thanks to the staff at the Parsons State Hospital for many years of care for Jason.
