It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Janette D Turck, of Wichita, Kansas, at her home on Thursday, February 13th, at the age of 74 years.

She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Grant Norris (Alissa), and Jake Norris (Ashley), her grandchildren Jewel (Aidan), Easton, Aspen, Sofia, and Sienna, brothers John Turck and Robin Anderson (Rita), sisters Vicki Turck, Kaye Anderson-Harper, and Carol Kidwell as well as numerous relatives and friends.

Janette was preceded in death by her beloved grandson Mason (Norris), niece Alexis (Bond), sister-in-law Suzanne (Turck), stepfather Wayne L Anderson and parents John D. Turck and Doreen Turck-Anderson.

Janette was born at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita Kansas on November 10th, 1950. She graduated from Southeast High School in 1969 and over the years worked at a variety of places including the Sedgwick County Courthouse, Roche Biomedical Labs, Associated Imaging Services, and operated as a landman throughout Kansas. But her true calling was a care giver. Her caring and loving personality was a great fit for taking care of the elderly. She made the lives of so many people much more comfortable by caring for them in their own homes, so they did not have to enter a nursing home or assisted care facility.

Janette lived life to the fullest; to say she had a green thumb would not be giving her enough credit. She loved plants, gardening, and flowers. She had a deep love for live music and dancing, especially of the local variety, Mike Finnigan was her favorite. But what she loved most was her family. Her pride and joy were her kids and her grandchildren.

We ask all of Janette's family and friends to come celebrate her life with us on Monday, February 24th at 11am. The celebration will be held at Wichita Bible Church located at 633 S. Woodlawn, Wichita, Kansas 67218. Janette will be cremated and there will be a private burial for close friends and family at a later date
