James F. Rader, 67, passed away December 23, 2010, in Aruba aboard the Island Princess Cruise Ship while celebrating his 50th wedding anniversary. Jim is preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Faye, brother Freddy and sister, Sue. Survived by sister Dalene (Husband Buck). He met his sweetheart Kay (Karen) when they were both 12 years old and married in 1961 after joining the Marine Corp. They have two children, Jimmy (Wife Nancy) and Kim (Husband Ken, now deceased). They moved back to Wichita, Kansas in 1966 and joined the Wichita Fire Department and retired in 1985. He had two grandsons, Alan (Wife Paula) and Kyle; and daughter in law, Neita. He had two great grandchildren, Jasmine and Maxwell and Gracie his caretaker and devoted poodle. His funeral will be Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at 10:30 AM at the Old Mission Funeral Mortuary.
