James "Jim" Leon Pappas, 75, a retired business owner, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2025. Born June 11, 1949, in Wichita, Kansas, Jim built a legacy of kindness, dedication, and love.

Jim graduated from Wichita Southeast High School in 1967 and earned degrees in business administration from Wichita State University and Wayne State University. Throughout his life, Jim was known for his entrepreneurial spirit and devotion to his family.

He is preceded in death by his son, James Peter (J.P.) Pappas, and his parents, Pete and Eva Pappas.

Jim is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 50 years, Susan; his daughter, Victoria Lynn Saraceno (Marc) of Prague, Czech Republic; his sister, Cathy Jabara of Wichita; and his brothers, Rick of Wichita and George of St. Louis, Missouri.

A private graveside service for the family will be held to honor Jim's life and memory.
