Iva Berniece Fagan Dean was born in Harrison, AR to Iva Murphy and Peter Fagan on 11/10/1923 and died on 9/14/2013. She was married to Lyle Dean for 55 years. She was a teacher, earning her bachelor's degree at a time most women did not attend college. She loved gardening, genealogy, and antiques. She is survived by her children, Lyle Dean and Mary Buck; 3 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brother, Bill Fagan; sisters, Frances McRae and Beatrice Thompson and many nieces and nephews who were all very dear to her. Funeral service 10:30 a.m. Friday at Old Mission Mortuary
