Mills, Irvin W., 83, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2013 in Fairland, OK. Funeral service will be at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, July 24 at Central Christian Church, 2900 N. Rock Rd. He is survived by many loving children, grandchildren and family members. He was born in Miami, OK and attended high school in Commerce, OK. He later moved to Wichita, KS where he lived for 60 years. He was employed as electrical foreman at Kansas Gas and Electric Company and later retired after a 40 year tenure. He was a talented craftsman with accomplishments in many construction and woodworking projects. He was actively involved and dedicated in his support of Central Christian Church for many years. For the past 15 years, he has lived part time and later full time at the home he built on Grand Lake in Fairland, OK. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established at Central Christian Church, Wichita, KS and First Christian Church, Fairland, OK. Arrangements have been entrusted to Old Mission Mortuary.
