Howard was born September 24, 1919 near Towanda, Kansas to Pearl Ralph Abraham and Effie Bell (Daniels) Abraham. He was the youngest of five siblings. He spent his life on the farm until he married Alice Lunette (Conner) Abraham on June 4, 1957.

He is survived by his daughters, Donna McClain (Morse Neighbors), and Sarah (Stephen) Cook, and son Robert Maxwell. Grandchildren John (Liz) Gresham, Kris Fabrizius, Amanda (Anthony) Dockens, Tara McClain (Jordan Bailey), and eight great-grandchildren: Matthew and Ali Fabrizius; Jacob, Makenna, Sadie, and Paisley Gresham; Dylan and Chad Dockens.

He passed away peacefully on April 30th in his daughter's home in Wichita. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, and one brother, his wife Alice of 52 years and great grandson Aiden Dockens.

He was a mason for 48 years - member of Albert Pike Lodge and Sunflower Lodge #86. Memorial contributions to: Plane of Mercy, C/O Midian Shrine Center, 130 N. Topeka, Wichita, KS 67202.
