Mar, Henjung Jee, 75, crossed over on Thursday, October 21, 2021. He was a graduate of Wichita West High School, and received his bachelors and masters degrees from Wichita State University. He was a lifelong math educator who retired from Wichita Public Schools after 29 years of service. Concurrently, he held numerous positions within the restaurant industry at a multitude of establishments up until his retirement a year ago.

When not educating students or working as a chef, Henjung loved watching movies. A favorite pastime of his was recording and cataloging his personal movie collection that well exceeded 1,000 titles. Additionally, he was a championship bridge player--a game in which tournaments were won in college and tremendously enjoyed in his retirement.

Henjung will best be remembered for his immense kindness, ability to make others laugh, and unparalleled work ethic.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Mona Hsiao; stepdaughter, Ramona Patrick; his sister, Suit Wing; grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
