Helen Margaret Marrs, 94, was born Sept. 21, 1919 in Lexington, KS. to Earl James and Mary (Pike) Hughs. She died at her home surrounded by her family on March 17, 2014 in Wichita, KS. Helen worked over 15 years as a rivetor at Boeing and Cessna aircraft. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed be her son, Fred; her daughter, Janet; and grandson Brian; other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Marrs (1974); a brother, Jesse Hughs; 3 sisters, Dorothy Heck, Lorine Boyd,and Marjorie McCallister. A celebration of her life will be held Friday, March 21, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. at the Old Mission Mortuary Chapel with burial immediately following in Old Mission Cemetery.
