IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Heav
Tan
December 10, 1921 – February 10, 2026
At 104 years young, she was the heart and foundation of a family spanning five generations. A devoted mother to eleven children, she nurtured her family with unwavering love, strength, and grace. Her legacy lives on through her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Born in Cambodia, she later arrived in the United States with her husband and children and built a brand-new life from the ground up. Here, through hard work, faith, and determination, she created the opportunity for her children and generations after her to live the American dream.
She showed her love most often in the kitchen — cooking for everyone and insisting no one leave her table hungry. Through changing times and generations, she remained a steady source of comfort, guidance, and unconditional love.
To know her was to feel cherished. When something truly amused her, she didn't just laugh — her whole body would shake with joy. And don't expect a polite little kiss hello — she'd grab your face and give you a good sniff instead. It's one of the many little things about her we will always remember. Her laughter, her stories, and her gentle spirit will forever echo in the lives of those she touched. Though she lived an extraordinary 104 years, it is the warmth of her table, the joy of her laughter, and the love she so freely gave that will endure beyond measure.
