Harvey Jack Mason, lifetime resident of Wichita, was born March 1, 1921 in Wichita, Kansas to Wesley Jay and Ora Susie (Waterhouse) Mason.
He died at the age of 87 on June 24, 2008 in Wichita.
He was a Veteran of World War II and served in the Pacific Theatre. After returning to Wichita he began his lifelong jewelry manufacturing career. He also was a member of Sunflower Masonic Lodge #86, 32 Degree Consistory and Legion of Honor at Midian Shrine.
Harvey was preceded in death by son, Dwayne and daughter, Judith and his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Darlene mason; daughter, Diana(Randy) Mark, Valley Center, Kansas, Danell (Mark) Oxler, Wichita, Kansas; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Merle "Bud" Suter, Wichita, Kansas.
Viewing and visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at 9:30 a.m. with funeral scheduled at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 26, 2008 at Old Mission Mortuary Chapel.
Burial will follow with Masonic and Military Honors at Old Mission Cemetery.
