Gloria Wecker, mom, friend, grandmother, great grandmother was born May 20, 1925. She was born and raised in New York City. After settling in Wichita Kansas in 1954 she worked for Boeing as a secretary. Gloria raised two children, son Tom of Kansas City and daughter Sandra of Wichita and loved every minute of it. New York City captured her heart and she returned often to enjoy the shows on Broadway. She loved to bargain shop and was a great lover of animals and donated hard earned money to the Kansas humane Society. Investing in the stock market took a lot of her time but kept her mind busy. She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings and husband Jack. Gloria dearly loved her six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. She was beloved by anyone that came in contact with her. She will be greatly missed. The family would like to think Encompass hospice for their special care and especially her nurse Lori.
