Gladys D. Peavey was born September 6, 1917 in Bartelsville, OK to Edwin Lawson and Elsie Delores (Northcutt) Hunter. She passed away on September 12, 2017 in Cleveland, TN at the age of 100 years and 6 days. Gladys graduated from Wichita State University and was a retired school librarian. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Edwin Thurston Peavey and her brother, Edwin Lawson Hunter, Jr. She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Janice Peavey of Boca Raton, FL. and Delores Hall and her husband, Estle of Ocoee, TN; a sister, Pat Snyder of Clinton, MO.; four grandchildren, David, Ashley, Emily and Laura; and 7 great grandchildren.
