Gladys L. Goodman, 92, passed away Thursday, January 26, 2012 at the Andover Court Assisted Living Center in Andover, Kansas.
She was born June 10, 1919 in Anthony, Kansas the daughter of Gus and Maud Peebles. She was employed for thirty years as a receptionist and cashier at the Wichita Clinic, and was a lifelong member of West Side Christian Church.
She married Harold "Goodie" Goodman and they were married for 66 years. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Harry, Mervin, Frank, and Raymond and two sisters, Irene and Grace.
Survivors include daughter, Glenda (Tom) Purcell; son, Allan (Barb) Goodman; grandchildren, Teresa Raehpour, Todd Goodman, Craig Goodman (Julianna); four great grandchildren, Benjamin, Michael, Elizabeth and Isabeau Goodman.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 30 at the chapel at Hillside Christian Church in Wichita. Burial will follow in the Old Mission Cemetery in Wichita.
Memorial contributions may be given to Botanica Gardens in Wichita in her name.
