George A. Dunfee Jr., 80, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2015 in Valley Center, Kansas. He is preceded in death by his parents, George Sr. and Irma Dunfee; wife, Joan Dunfee; brothers, Morris and Mahlon "Jim" Dunfee. George is survived by his beloved children, Julie (Bob) Henke of Davenport, Iowa; Dwayne Dunfee of Blanchard, Oklahoma; Brian Dunfee of Union, Oregon; Christene (John) Trice; Joseph (Delta) Dunfee of Valley Center, Kansas and Adam Dunfee of Valley Center, Kansas. Brothers, Ron (Cindy) Dunfee of Mulberry, Arkansas and Melvin Dunfee of Moore, Oklahoma. George has eleven grandchildren, John Jr. Trice, Joshua Trice, Jeremi Trice, Jed Trice, C. Dwayne Miller, Steven Dunfee, Kaethe Henke, Nadyia Dunfee, Kaden Dunfee, Talyia Dunfee, Delila Dunfee, two great grandchildren Haley Miller and Leo Dunfee. George was a hard worker that wouldn't and couldn't quit. He would do whatever it took to make sure he took care of his family. He was a true cowboy and held his family close to his heart. George will be missed but never forgotten. He lives on in his children and his children's children. Memorial service has been scheduled through the Dunfee family for Sunday, January 11, 2015 with Calvary Baptist Church 320 N. Sheridan Road, Valley Center, Kansas at 2:00 to 3:00 pm .
