Gary E. Logan, 74, of Wichita, KS died peacefully in his sleep on December 24, 2018. A memorial service will be held this Monday, December 31st at 10:30am at West Heights United Methodist Church in Wichita, with a private interment later.

Gary was born on June 25, 1944 in Blackwell, OK to Dorothy and Ernest Logan.  He played baseball in high school and college and graduated from Wichita State University in 1966. He married Sheril Mize on August 12, 1966.  Gary joined the Army in 1967, served in the Vietnam War and returned home in 1969.  Gary worked for Sears for 18 years before becoming an Insurance Agent for Allstate in 1988.  Gary retired from Allstate in 2004. He enjoyed spending time with family, fishing and watching every sport possible.

Gary was preceded in death by his father Ernest and his infant daughter.  He is survived by his wife Sheril, 3 sons Aaron(Lisa), Jeff(Jenny) and Richard(Norma) all of Wichita, his mother Dorothy and sister Diana(Sam) of Ft Worth, TX, 9 grandchildren, many in-laws, nieces and nephews.
