Gary Lee Leonard was born in Seymour, Mo on December 26, 1945 to Albert Raymond Leonard and Florence Marie Fleetwood. He passed away in Wichita, Ks on August 23, 2025.

He enjoyed collecting guns, knives, and antiques and watching old western movies. He loved spending time with his family. He was very smart, loving, and giving.

Gary is survived by his wife Feng Tan, his daughter Carina, his sons Joe (Chasta), Gary (Michelle), Robert, and Kelly, his grandchildren Tierra, Jarrett, Jenna, Alexis, Taylor, Kenzie, Kaesyn, Colten, Lexy, and Cade, his great-grandchildren Aspen and Rowan, his brother Jerry, his sisters Joyce and Becky, and lots of nieces and nephews, all who he loved very much.

He is preceded in death by his father Albert and mother Florence, his brothers Raymond and William Jake, and his sisters Eva, Beverly, and Betty.

The service will be held at Westview Baptist Church at 1325 S. Meridian, Wichita, KS on Thursday September 4, 2025 at 11am.

The burial will be at Old Mission Cemetery at 3424 E. 21st St. N., Wichita, KS on Friday September 19, 2025 at 10am.
