Hoover, Gary E., went home to our Lord on August 18, 2013. He was born Feb. 5, 1942 to Clyde & Mamie Hoover in Springfield, MO. He moved to Wichita to work at the Coleman Company in the Heating and Air Conditioning Division for 17 years. He then purchased a Coleman Heating & Air Conditioning Distributorship Specialized Service and owned for 14 years. Gary married Nancy Ball on April 6, 1963. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mamie and brothers, Rickie and Jerry. Survived by his wife of over 50 years, Nancy; children, Bryan (Cindy) Hoover, Lisa (Jay) Allen; grandchildren, Matthew, Megan, Jeremy, Marcus and Cameron, all of Wichita. Also survived by his father, Clyde Hoover; brother, Larry (Karen) Hoover; sister, Carol (Carlos) Hodson, all of Missouri. A Memorial Service will be held 4:00 p.m. Friday at Aldersgate United Methodist Church. There will be no graveside service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Kansas Chapter.
