Gareth Duane Smith, 77, passed away September 17, 2020 in Wichita, Kansas. He was born July 16, 1943 to Donald and Sarah Smith. Gareth grew up in Wichita and attended WSU. He loved baseball, gardening, his dogs, watching old western shows on the television and he enjoyed the time he had with his children. Gareth was very involved with law enforcement, including starting his own PI firm. He is survived by his son, Aaron; daughter, Kristie; sisters, Gayla, Donna and Rilla and his loving friend Peggy.
