Frances S. Brown, 94, retired teacher, died Sept. 16, 2010.
She was very active in her church and community. Member of P.E.O., University Club, Meals on Wheels, Sedgwick Co. Museum and charter member of Botanica, The Wichita Gardens.
Preceded in death by husband, Joseph H., twin brother, Frank Strait.
Survived by sister, Joan Stroda of Hope, KS; sisters-in-law, Mary Brown of Wichita, Elouise Strait of Boliver, MO; many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions made to University of Kansas, Watkins Hall; The Lord's Diner; Disability Supports of the Great Plains or a charity of the donor's choice.
A Viewing will be held Sunday 1 to 5 p.m. at Old Mission Mortuary. Graveside Service Monday 2:30 p.m. at Old Mission Cemetery and Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday at Larksfield Place Auditorium.
