Floyd McBride, 91, died Oct. 25, 2011. Floyd was born on Jan. 30, 1920 in Caney, OK to Frank and Mattie (Willows) McBride.
Floyd was a WWII veteran having served in the Air Force. He was also a manager at Boeing for over 40 Years He was also a successful farmer with acreage in wheat and soybeans. Floyd was an avid bird hunter and dog trainer.
He was a good neighbor, great friend and above all a wonderful father
Floyd was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty McBride; daughter, Birdie McBride and son, Scott McBride
He was survived by Juanita I. McBride his wife of 26 years; sons, Floyd A and Jim L. McBride; daughter, Melodie McBride; Stepsons, Floyd D and Doug E Arrington; Stepdaughter, Carol I Reed; grandchildren, Jimmy R McBride, Brian S McBride, Alan S McBride, Shawn M McBride, Melisa A Divall, Marissa L Arrington, Danielle C Arrington, Erica Mason, Tyler Arrington, Elizabeth Arrington, Brian Spiker, Brad Spiker, and Laura Spiker. There are also several great grand children.
Services will be on Wed. Nov 2 at 3:00 PM at College Hill United Methodist Church.
Internment will be on Thur. Nov 3 at 10:00 AM at Old Mission Cemetery.
