Eva Mae Forister, 79, born Feb. 23, 1935 in Seymour, MO found peace on March 14, 2014, surrounded by loved ones. She was a beautiful woman, inside and out. Loving, kind, but strong when she needed to be. Always thinking of others, always taking care of others. There was no better person to have love you. If she decided you were "family" you were very lucky and loved more than you could ever know. She was a woman with a huge heart of gold. She was the oldest girl of 9 children. She was a devoted daughter, caring sister, beloved wife and a loving mother/grandmother who gave her all to her family. Anyone who knew her knew that her family ALWAYS came first. She is survived by first born pride and joy, Frederick (Fritz) Jr.; her granddaughter, Dustye; grandson, Shane; her great granddaughter her angel, Tara; brothers, Gary Leonard, Pete Leonard; sisters, Betty Wisenhunt, Becky Rhodes, Joyce Shackelford; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday at Old Mission Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.
