Erma "Allene" Holley, 81, passed away January 18, 2025, in Wichita, Kansas. She was born in Mooreland, Oklahoma on October 3, 1943, to Ermal and Eula (Hamilton) Buttel. Allene retired from Coleman after 30 years of service. She loved shopping, having nice clothes, handbags, shoes, cars and her cats Frank and Lola. Allene was a people person; she loved to talk and never met a stranger. She always had an open ear, open mind and would always tell you how she felt. Allene always kept an immaculate house, inside and out. She enjoyed traveling and wanted to be where the action was. Allene always was a advocate and strong supporter of women's rights. She also had a lead foot like her father.  Allene was a true friend, great partner and mother. She is survived by her husband, Derral Holley, 55 years of Wichita, Kansas; son, Neil (Cathy) Holley, of Wichita, Kansas; nephews, John (Monica) Harpool, of Wichita, Kenneth Harpool, of Wichita; brother-in-law, Ken Harpool, of Wichita; great niece, Mckayla Rose Harpool, of Wichita and cousin, Fred Butler, of Oklahoma. Allene is preceded by her parents; sisters, Margie Maxene Buttel and Carol R. Harpool.
