Emma Jean (Brookshire) Klotz, age 92, died following complications from Covid on Friday, November 5, 2021. Emma was born on February 20, 1929 to Elmer LeRoy & May (Curtis) Brookshire in Guthrie, Oklahoma. She married Leo E. Klotz and settled in Wichita, Kansas to raise her family.
Emma was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leo; sons, Ronald G. Klotz & Robert Klotz; brother, Cecil Brookshire; sisters, Maxine Hehn, Dorothy Morris, Helen Hancock; and a great granddaughter, Shayla Long.
At the time of her death, survivors include her son, Richard (Wanda) Leo Klotz of Austin, TX; daughters, Debbie (Terry) Sue Kessler of Belle Plaine, KS, Linda K. DeMott & Leona Marie (Steve) Bohnstehn both of Wichita, KS; sister, Cleo S. Smith; 8 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren
Services for Emma Jean will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 27, 2021 at the Old Mission Mortuary Chapel, 3424 E. 21st St. N., Wichita, KS 67208 with burial following at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, 1806 N. Oliver, Wichita, KS 67208. Following burial, a luncheon will be provided by the Family @ Emma Jean's Residence, along with Family and sharing Photos of memories of Emma & Debbie.
