Obituary

Elston Page died December 11, 2019 in Wichita, Ks. He was preceded in death by his wife, of 50 years, Elsie Moody Page. He is survived by his wife of 14 years Lois LaVon Page.

Elston and Elsie were blessed of God with two sons Phillip and Craig.

Phillip is married to Carolyn Page of Wichita Ks. Together they have three children: Brandon "Rachel" Page of Bradenton Fl, Ashley "Tony" Pameticky" and Melissa "Greg" Leonard of Wichita, Ks.

Elston also has five great grandchildren Micah, Micaja, Carmen, Ava, and Providence.

Craig Page is married to Patty Kvas Page. They have two children Brooke and Ashton Page. Craig and Pat reside in Scottsdale, Arizona, Brooke resides with her husband David in Castle Rock Colorado and Ashton Page lives in Omaha, Nebraska where he is completing his master's degree in Social work.

His is also survived by three stepdaughters: Glenda Whitbeck, Teri "Bob" Lamon, and Micki "Blaine" Schultz and two step grandsons Bryan Whittaker, and Aaron Voth.

Elston Caruth Page was born to Roosevelt Page and Lucille Williams Page on May 9, 1930 at route two Roseboro, NC.

Elston attended Holmes Theological Seminary, with a Bachelor of Theology degree. He then attended Lynchburg College receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree, and in 1967 attended Pembroke State University receiving his Teachers Certificate in Education. Finally receiving an honorary doctorate degree from Southwestern College Oklahoma, City Oklahoma in 1994.

On August 23, 1953 was married to Elsie Moody of Lumberton, NC. His first pastorate was Fuquay Springs, NC. In 1955 he, his wife, and younger son were in route to Alaska to work among the Athabascan Indians in Northway Village. He served in Northway for 4 years and relocated to Anchorage where he built a new church serving for 8 years.

In 1968, leaving and Alaska still feeling the call to serve, relocating to Wichita, Kansas serving as Pastor of the First Pentecost Holiness Church. While pastoring FPHC, he built a new sanctuary and educational wing. He served the Wichita congregation for 12 & 1/2 years, and the conference superintendent for Kansas serving for 12 years.

He served God, and the Pentecostal Holiness Church, in the following leadership positions:

Pastor, Missionary, Superintendent in Alaska and Kansas, on the Board of Foreign Missions, Southwestern College Executive and General Boards, Pentecostal
