Elizabeth "Betty" Joan Roush went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wed., Oct. 21, 2015 at the age of 83. She was born to Oscar and Maude Agnes (Barr) Browning in Lebanon, Missouri on Jan. 22, 1932. Elizabeth was a retired Medical Dept. Supervisor for Wesley Hospital, co-owner with her late husband of "The Bookery" for 16 years in Laurie, MO. and a professional model. Preceding her in death were parents;husband M.Dean Roush, April 18, 2014; brother, Bill; and sisters, Frances, Bonnie Rose and Patricia. Survivors are her daughters, Sheryl (Jim) Spangler, Kathy Roush, Laurie Roush (Larry Hucke), and Meg Harris all of Wichita, KS.; a son, Erik (Laura) Roush of Kansas City, Missouri; 7 grandchildren, Jimmy (Kelly) Spangler, Joseph (Ashleigh) Spangler, Michelle Elizabeth Roush, Patty Roush, Tommy Roush, Hannah Rose Roush, and Abigail K. Roush; 4 great-grandchildren, Elijah Brody, Elleigh, and Macey Elizabeth Spangler. Visitation will be held Monday, Oct. 26, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. with funeral service at 10:30 a.m. at Old Mission Mortuary Chapel. Burial will immediately follow at Old Mission Cemetery.
